
--Receiver Santana Moss, who has known Clinton Portis longer than anyone at Redskin Park, said the flare-up between his buddy and the coach was no big deal.
"It's like your mom or your dad getting into an argument (with you) over something you did at school, they're going to get pissed off with you, but when you go to sleep, 'I love you, that's the only reason I fussed at you,' " Moss said. "(It's like) 'Coach, I love you. That's the only reason I expressed my feelings like that.'"
--Cincinnati is 1-11-1, but fullback Mike Sellers said the reeling Redskins can't take the Bengals lightly, not after losing to 2-11 St. Louis and squeaking by 0-13 Detroit, 2-11 Seattle and 4-9 Cleveland.
"They're a lot better than their record shows," Sellers said. "We tend to struggle against those teams lately.
--Cornerback DeAngelo Hall is looking forward to covering his pal, Bengals receiver Chad Ocho Cinco.
"It's going to be fun," Hall said. "We've been hanging for probably the past five or six years. He does (trash-talk), but it's all fun and games. It's nothing too personal."
