Attorney Glenn Funk entered Haynesworth's pleas in Williamson County Circuit Court to the charges of reckless driving and having an expired registration. On Dec. 13, Haynesworth, then with Tennessee, allegedly tried to pass another driver who was badly injured after crashing into a concrete median.

Haynesworth, who agreed to a seven-year, $100 million contract with the Redskins in the first hours of free agency last month, is free on $1,000 bond. He has been working out regularly at Redskin Park since the offseason conditioning program began on March 16.

He's due in court for a review hearing on April 28. If convicted, Haynesworth faces a sentence of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for reckless driving and 30 days in jail and a $50 fine for the expired registration.

--Safety Chris Horton, who zoomed from seventh-round draft pick to starter as a rookie in 2008, earned $342,197 in performance-based pay, third-most in the NFL.

Eight other Redskins earned at least $100,000 in the seven-year-old program which supplements salaries of players whose game action is much higher than anticipated based on their paychecks. Those eight were linebacker H.B. Blades ($206,725), offensive tackle Stephon Heyer ($166,350), defensive tackles Lorenzo Alexander ($151,914), Kedric Golston $143,420) and Anthony Montgomery ($138,351), safety Kareem Moore ($131,936) and defensive ends Demetric Evans ($115,198) and Chris Wilson ($103,166).
