Offense
Washington ran 30 plays more than the Seahawks (76-46) and dominated time of possession (38:27 to 21:33). Although the defense contributed to some of its own troubles, it's hard to expect it to be on the field almost 40 minutes.
Matt Hasselbeck
Hasselbeck was wild again most of this game, completing just 12 passes for 103 yards with two picks to go with two TDs. His season passer rating is more than 30 points below his career average.
Rushing
Behind Mo Morris' 103 rushing yards, the Hawks averaged 7 yards per carry as the offensive line was getting a nice surge against a Redskins defense that ranked fifth in the NFL against the run.
Josh Wilson
The second-year cornerback/returner is turning into one of the most valuable Seahawks, again sparking the team with several nice returns. He averaged 24.8 on five returns with a long of 55 yards.
Punter swap
Former Hawk punter Ryan Plackemeier showed why he was released here as he averaged just 31.7 yards and 28.3 net on three punts for the Redskins. In contrast, Hawks punter Jon Ryan averaged 47.8 and 43.3 net.
Not smart
Normally among the least penalized teams in the league, the Hawks were flagged six times for 51 yards, compared to two for 20 for the Redskins.
