A question posed to Steelers beat writer Ed Bouchette on his Internet Q&A this week:
Q: I think Mike Tomlin has the potential to be an elite coach and I project at least three Super Bowl titles before he leaves Pittsburgh. What are your thoughts?
-- Bryan Parker, Cleveland
A: I remember people saying the same about Bill Cowher. Winning Super Bowls is tougher than you think, especially in this age of the salary cap and free agency. Chuck Noll won four and is a Hall of Famer, the only coach to ever win four. Perhaps Tomlin can win a Super Bowl or two, maybe even three, but I'd have a hard time predicting "at least three."
